KEY SECURITY CELEBRATES CHAS ACCREDITATION
ABR Safety assist their Client in achieving accreditation within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS).
In achieving the accreditation, Swindon based Key Security Limited, leading security experts in the South West of England, have demonstrated sound safety management and compliance to current health and safety legislation.
This is an excellent achievement and demonstrates the consistent high standards of Health and Safety, training and processes across the business, required to satisfy the industry wide certification scheme. This reinforces the company’s commitment to the safety of the team and those affected by their operations.
CHAS (The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme) was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards across the UK.
The certification was presented to Key Security following as assessment of the company’s:
- Health and Safety Policy Statement
- Organisation of health and safety
- Specific health and safety arrangements to a standard which is acceptable to CHAS’s buyers and to others.
- Key areas of focus of the assessment include training and how the teams work on client sites and the associated controls and disciplines.
