The Scenario:
Following a visit from an HSE inspector, this manufacturer received a letter recommending a list of improvements. In addition, the letter also mentioned an intention to follow up with a second visit.
The Solution:
As a result, ABR Safety agreed a series of actions and improvements involving risk assessments, plant and machinery with the customer. The firm hosted the return visit from the HSE Inspector. The visit included a thorough inspection of the operation and H&S documentation.
Therefore, based on the implementation of some robust procedures, the company avoided any fines or enforcement actions. In addition, this action was reinforced by the future plans to manage the health, safety and wellbeing of employees.
Consequently, satisfactory closure of all actions resulted in no further action being taken.
